THE CUMBERLAND MARYSVILLE provides the highest degree of excellence in conference services with an emphasis on the most important aspect - human services. The excellent facilities include five dedicated conference rooms accommodating up to 150 delegates, all equipped with modern communications equipment. Set in the picturesque town of Marysville, and surrounded by manicured gardens, THE CUMBERLAND provides the ideal environment for delegates to achieve the highest level of productivity.
And when it's time to unwind delegates can relax in the lounge by the open fire, explore the extensive gardens or surrounding Yarra Ranges National Park, workout in the gym followed by a swim in the Indoor heated 20 metre x 5 metre swimming pool, sauna or spa. Delegates can book at treatment in the Villa Day Spa newly opened in late 2005 which offers a variety of relaxing options. Nearby is an 18 hole golf course, horse riding or in winter Nordic skiing at Lake Mountain only 20 minutes away. The fully licensed restaurant and bar at THE CUMBERLAND is an experience that you will remember as a highlight of your conference.

43 accommodation rooms, accommodating up to 90 delegates, with ample overflow accommodation for larger groups within a few minutes walk from the conference centre. All rooms are appointed with television, ensuite, heating, air conditioning, electric blankets, direct dial STD/ISD telephones, refrigerator and coffee and tea making facilities.
Deluxe and Superior rooms include a range of additional comforts such as spa and mini bar.
Delegates will enjoy the attention to detail provided by our chefs and the environment of Ruby's Restaurant. Seating up to 140, Ruby's is fully licensed and provides beautiful outlooks to the gardens and beyond.
A nutritionally balanced working lunch will ensure delegates remain active and bright for afternoon sessions. For an experiential event with a difference, picnic hampers can be prepared for you to enjoy at many nearby locations, or enjoy a barbecue in our surrounding gardens.
Recreational / Experiential Facilities
Supper at Steavenson Falls or pre-dinner champagne are popular activities for small or large groups. The Falls are floodlit until late at night and The Cumberland provides a complimentary bus service for any interested group to visit.
A village in a valley, surrounded by mountains, and only 90 minutes from Melbourne. Marysville offers everybody a world of relaxation or excitement all year round. A first class all weather 18 hole golf course near the town centre, trout fishing in secluded mountain streams, horse riding and mountain bike trail riding. During the winter months Nordic skiing at Lake Mountain, only 20 minutes away, with a wide selection of cross country trails to suit all standards of skier, or those that just enjoy snow play. Keppel's Hut is one of many shelters in the mountains that have historical significance. And in spring and summer the high plains come alive with native blooms.
Steavenson Falls, the highest waterfall in Victoria, tumbling 83 metres over three levels, is a majestic display of water, rocks and gravity. A return visit in the evening when the falls are floodlit with hydro power, is an absolute must. Ample car parking and picnic facilities at the falls enable visitors to stay the day and enjoy this amazing spectacle of nature.
